At Elirian, we design and source refined furniture and home decor meant to last. If something isn't right or a piece doesn't work for your space, this policy explains how returns, refunds, exchanges, damage claims, and warranties are handled. Our goal is to be clear, fair, and supportive while accounting for the realities of furniture logistics.

1. Return Eligibility

Small, in-stock decor and home items returned unused, unassembled, and in original packaging within 30 days.

2. How to Start a Return

3. Return Shipping & Costs

Small items (change of mind): Customer pays return shipping

Large furniture: Customer typically pays return freight unless defective

Defective or incorrect items: Elirian covers return shipping and replacement costs

Original shipping fees: Non-refundable

International orders: Duties, VAT, and import taxes are non-refundable
4. Restocking Fees

Small items: No restocking fee if returned in resalable condition

Large furniture: Restocking fees generally range 15 - 25%, depending on condition, packaging, and logistics

Refused deliveries: Carrier fees and return costs may be deducted from the refund
Any applicable fees will be disclosed before the return is finalized whenever possible.
5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Visible Damage
Inspect upon delivery. Note damage on the carrier receipt, take photos, and contact support within 48 hours.
Hidden Damage
Report within 7 days of delivery with photos.

For large items, we often resolve issues with parts first to minimize disruption. If a return is required due to a defect, Elirian covers return shipping.
6. Refund Processing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection and approval. Processing typically takes 5 - 10 business days, with additional time depending on your bank or payment provider. Any deductions will be clearly itemized.
7. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. To receive a different item, please complete a return and place a new order.
8. Made-to-Order & Custom Items
All custom and made-to-order items are final sale unless defective. If a defect occurs, we will repair, replace, or refund as appropriate. Lead times and non-returnable status are always confirmed at purchase.
9. Warranties & Repairs
Many Elirian products include a limited manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty terms vary by product. Contact support with photos and your order number for evaluation.
10. International Returns
Customs duties and taxes paid on the original order are not refundable by Elirian. Customers may be eligible to reclaim duties directly from local customs authorities. Return shipping for international orders is the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
11. Failed or Refused Deliveries
If a delivery is refused or fails due to an incorrect address or customer unavailability, carrier fees and return costs may be deducted from the refund. Contact us before refusing a delivery to avoid unnecessary charges.
12. Packaging & Safe Returns
Please retain and reuse the original packaging. Items damaged during return transit due to inadequate packaging may be refused or subject to additional deductions.
13. Trade & Wholesale Orders
Trade, wholesale, and hospitality orders may follow different return terms. Refer to your trade agreement or contact trade@elirian.com.
14. Disputes & Escalation
If you disagree with a return decision, reply to your support case to request escalation. Our operations team will review and respond within 5 business days.
15. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated periodically. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version. Significant changes affecting open orders will be communicated directly.
