Dust the rattan surface regularly with a soft dry brush or cloth to prevent build-up in the weave. For deeper cleaning, use a lightly dampened cloth and allow the rattan to dry fully in a well-ventilated space before closing the drawers. Avoid soaking the rattan or leaving it in sustained direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure can cause the fibres to dry out and lose their flexibility over time. The wood frame can be wiped clean with a dry cloth. Rattan is naturally resilient and requires very little to stay looking its best.
